The Ukrainians attacked the Russian territory of Crimea last night with several ATACMS ballistic missiles. Yesterday, Moscow announced the occupation of the settlement of Andrivka in eastern Ukraine.
The Capture of Andreevka
In more detail, yesterday evening the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the village named Andreivka, located in the People’s Republic of Donetsk, came under the control of the Russian army.
Andrivka is specifically located southwest of Bahmut. One day before, the Russian Ministry of Defense had announced the capture of Kletsivka in the same sector of the front. The occupation of these villages takes place within the framework of the Russian operation against Chasov Yar, a Ukrainian city that is a strategic hub in the region. The capture of Andriivka and Kletsivka will help the Moscow forces in this objective.
In addition, during the occupation of these two villages, it was said that Russian Forces Group South inflicted heavy casualties on Ukrainian troops in the areas of Konstantinovka, Razdolovka, and Chasov Yar. According to the Kremlin, Kiev lost more than 490 soldiers, 2 armored vehicles, 4 wheeled vehicles and several artillery pieces.
Let us also inform you that Andreivka became the third settlement occupied by Russian soldiers this week.

Explosions in Crimea
In response to successful Russian operations along almost the entire front, last night the Ukrainian armed forces launched at least 8 US-made ATACMS ballistic missiles against the territory of Crimea. The Ukrainian strike was said to be pre-planned, but the Russian side called it “ineffective”.
So far we do not know the damage caused by the Ukrainian attack, since the authorities of the Crimean peninsula have not made any public statements. We know of course that there were 2 victims among the population of Crimea, which was confirmed by the head of the region, Sergei Aksyonov.
However, Russian media report that the anti-missile defense systems worked normally, quickly dealing with the threats posed by the Ukrainian ballistic missiles. Of course, it seems that they did not manage to intercept all the incoming missiles.
We should also mention that no satellite images showing the aftermath of the Ukrainian attack on Crimea have been published so far on the internet, which means that we cannot inform you about the possible losses and material damage caused even in this way.
