Among those who have expressed similar views are businessman Elon Musk, who announced the creation of the America Party, former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, former Senator Joe Manchin, and former Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang.
However, Carlson’s public intervention is considered by many to be particularly important, as he has one of the greatest political influences in the American conservative media and addresses millions of citizens through his shows and podcast.
His announcement of support for a third party may be a point of reference for those who want a different political proposal against the traditional Republican-Democratic duopoly, opening a new debate about the future of the American political system.
