Russia has officially announced the capture of Pokrovsk in the Donbas and Vovchansk in Kharkiv! Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the headquarters of the Russian Armed Forces, where he was briefed on developments on the fronts in Ukraine.

According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, cited by the Russian news agency TASS, General Valery Gerasimov informed V. Putin about “the liberation of the cities of Krasnoarmeysk (as Russians call Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region) and Vovchansk (in the Kharkiv region)” as well as the results of military operations in other areas.

Dmitry Peskov said: “On the evening of November 30, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and President of Russia Vladimir Putin visited one of the command centers of the Joint Group of Forces.

He heard reports from the Chief of the General Staff (Valery) Gerasimov, the Commander of Army Group “Center” (Valery) Solotchuk and the Commander of Army Group “East” Ivanov.”

“General Gerasimov reported on the liberation of the cities of Krasnoarmeysk and Volchansk, as well as on the results of operations in other areas.”

Accordingly, he was briefed on the progress of the “liberation of territories” in the Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

“Andrey Ivanyev also reported on the group’s advance to the Gaichur River and the start of the operation to liberate the city of Khuliyaipol in the Zaporizhia region by units of the 5th Combined Arms Army. Units of this formation are currently participating in street battles in the northeastern part of the city,” he said.

V. Putin “thanked the commanders and personnel of the groups for their successful actions and also set the task of providing the troops with everything necessary for conducting military operations during the coming winter,” he concluded.

Kiev has not admitted that the aforementioned cities have fallen into the hands of Russian forces.
