In Volshansk on the outskirts of Kharkiv, Russian troops have reached the outskirts of the city, detecting looters among the local population, Russian media continue.

Social networks are actively circulating images of people wandering around their neighbors’ empty houses ahead of the inevitable arrival of the Russian army, hoping to stock up on abandoned goods.

They do not hide their actions, even making sarcastic comments. Police cars are also attacked, confirming rumors that all municipal and government structures have fled.

After the capture of Glubokoye and Lukyantsov, the Russian advanced groups reached the northern suburbs of Liptsov.

After the occupation of the settlement in the range of the Russian artillery will be Kharkov, from Liptsov to the regional center is no more than nineteen kilometers.

Panic reigns in the Ukrainian General Staff

Yuri Butusov, a well-known blogger in Ukraine, was the first to announce the start of the Russian army offensive in the Kharkiv region in very gloomy tones.

On May 10, in the afternoon, he said that the Russian Armed Forces captured four border settlements in Slobozhanshchina- Streleche, Krasnoe, Pylnaya and Borisovka.

According to him, the Russian Armed Forces attacked with 4-5 infantry battalions and, during short battles, and brought under their control more than 30 square kilometers.

“This area near the border has long been in fact a gray zone, the defense line was not deployed there, and therefore the enemy managed to create a bridgehead up to 10 km wide and up to 5 km deep on the territory of Ukraine, without any special obstacles,” said Butusov.

Butusov called for the maximum losses to be inflicted on Russian warplanes, otherwise “they will begin to occupy other areas along the border in order to use this area as a possible springboard for an attack with more significant forces.”

Judging from the map, Russian forces took control of the salients north of Kharkiv and east of the Goptovka border crossing.

According to Russian military correspondents, Russian troops also cut off the main supply route for the Ukrainian Armed Forces group in Volchansk.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, cited by military correspondents, during the short-lived fighting, the Ukrainians lost hundreds of weapons systems including the Vampire MLRS, from which the Ukrainian Armed Forces were flying the Belgorod, a French Caesar self-propelled gun and 170 servicemen, while 36 Ukrainian prisoners were captured.

The Russian attack has begun and the target is clearly Kharkiv and then Odessa, for which many experts have suspicions that World War III may start.
