According to a recent publication of the Russian state channel Zvezda, which is managed by the Russian Ministry of Defense itself, paratroopers from the Russian city of Tula managed with tanks to push back the Ukrainian forces in the direction of Solendar-Bakhmut, preventing the concentration of a large amount of manpower and equipment. Apparently Kiev’s plans anticipated an imminent attack in this direction of the front.
The Russian Ministry of Defense published footage of the combat work of T-90M tank crews in the war zone. In the said video, one of the T-90M tanks is seen destroying Ukrainian fortifications and manpower with accurate fire. The crew needs to get as close as possible to the Ukrainian target in order to fire direct shots.
The crew of the Russian tank came under heavy enemy fire more than once during the conflict, but always managed to emerge victorious in the duel, Zvezda reported. As Commander Tosmk stated, he alone managed to destroy five Ukrainian tanks and four Kiev armored vehicles.
Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu inspected the organization of training received by Russian soldiers who will soon operate T-90M tanks in Ukraine.
Education Under the Supervision of Shoigu
Crew training takes place in state-of-the-art interactive training arrays, which allow trainees to practice all the elements they are required to have in a realistic battle. Military personnel familiarize themselves with the characteristics of Russian combat vehicles, their accuracy of fire and ease of operation.
Shoigu oversaw training points for future tank crews during a general inspection of combat training of Russian soldiers at training centers of the Southern Military District. At the same time, military tank personnel, riflemen and artillery units were trained at the said center, with the duration of the training reaching 38 days.
