The leading composer sealed the aesthetic choices of the planet. Ennio Morricone, who has composed around 500 soundtracks in about six decades, has collaborated with many directors, many of whom he has developed strong friendships with. He was negative about any proposal made to him to leave his beloved Rome for Hollywood. Some of his famous soundtracks are:
